We are pleased to be able to return to the Black Country Living Museum this winter for their Glad Tidings Christmas Evenings.
It’s the time of year to bring friends and family together for a cosy evening here at the Museum. Gather around the open fires, sing along with traditional carollers and Fifties favourites, and enjoy traditional Christmas treats to get into the festive mood.
Explore the historic village as you discover Christmas through time, from the origins of a traditional Victorian Christmas to the vintage crooners and TV specials of the 1950s and 60s. Hear carols around every corner as choirs and bands perform a host of jolly tunes.
Bring a bit of the Museum home with you by creating some truly traditional Christmas decorations and have a browse for some unique presents for friends and family in the Festive Market.
Plus, enjoy a taste of all your Museum foodie favourites! Enjoy a festive fizz as you pop to the Elephant and Castle for a Babycham, warm your cockles with a tasty portion of fish and chips or grab a bag of sweeties for the kids (or the young at heart!) at T.Cooks Sweet Shop.
