Today’s #FeaturedFriday piece is a Scottish celtic necklace by the famous designers ‘Miracle’.
Miracle was a maker of celtic inspired jewelry that was popular from the late 1940s to the 1970s.
The design of this pendant is of a belt, featuring an intricately engraved buckle, featuring natural purple stones. Interestingly the stones here are cloudy offcuts of Amethyst rather than an Agate, Miracle used Amethyst when they were unable to source their preferred Agate as that shade of purple is one of the rarer shades that occurs naturally.
