This is a simply stunning example of an enamel decorated vintage coin, by the famous artists at ‘Coin of the Realm’ who were based in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The original coin is a Silver 1887 Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee Shilling. This has had the top layer of relief covered in gold leaf, before having the lower levels infilled with coloured enamel.
The finished coin has then been mounted in gold-plated Sterling Silver.
The mount is fully hallmarked to the base, and the pendant comes supplied on it’s original 24″ chain.
There are plenty of extras with this one – including the original sales box, receipt, care instructions and a copy of a letter from Buckingham Palace to ‘Coin of the Realm’.
