This is a nice example of an early brooch by the Welsh designer Maureen Ann Story Jones aka MASJ.
It is hand signed and dated to the rear – showing it was made in 1987
The brooch is made from pewter that has been silver plated (and lacquered for protection), and measures 6.3cm long by 2.4cm tall.
