Vintage Wetherall Portrait Brooch

This is a lovely example of a portrait miniature brooch in the georgian style, with a twisted rope border.
This particular brooch is by Wetherall of Bond St, London and the picture features a girl holding a pair of cherries.
It is signed to the rear with ‘Wetherall Bond St W1 LTD’ which helps us to date this into the late 1940’s, early 1950’s.
The brooch is made from brass, and measures 5.5cm tall by 4.5cm wide.
