This is a stunning set of graduated, oval milk glass beads. Each bead is perfectly white and is strung onto beading silk featuring individual hand tied knots between them. The clasp also features a circular milk glass bead, and is original to the necklace.

Milk glass bead necklaces in this shade of white were highly popular in the 1950’s as wedding jewellery – with the white beads representing purity.
