WW1 Army Service Corps Sweetheart Brooch

This is a lovely WW1 Army Service Corps sweetheart brooch in near perfect condition.

The Army Service Corps are the largely unsung heroes of the British Army in the First World War. Soldiers can not fight without food, equipment and ammunition. They can not move without horses or vehicles.  The Army Service Corps were responsible for providing all of them, doing so mostly from Britain itself. At its peak, the Army Service Corps numbered an incredible 10,547 officers and 315,334 men.

The brooch measures 2.8cm wide and tall.
