WW2 Army Dental Corps Sweetheart Brooch

£20.00

This is a great example of a WW2 Army Dental Corps sweetheart brooch in great vintage condition.
The brooch features the original cap badge design with the intertwined initials ‘ADC’ in brass against an enamelled background.

The Army Dental Corps were formed in 1921 to provide dental care to the British Army, ranging from preventive dentistry to emergency treatments. In 1946 they were awarded the ‘Royal’ prefix by King George VI in tribute to their contribution in World War 2.

The brooch measures 5.5cm wide and 2.5cm tall.
