WW2 Royal Navy Button Hole

£14.00

This is a great example of a WW2 era Royal Navy button hole.
It is made from brass and decorated with blue and red enamel to the front.

These button holes would have been worn by serving members of the Royal Navy while at home in the UK in civilian dress, and post-war by veterans of the Royal Navy.
There are also a few examples of them being worn by male relatives of sailors who were lost while serving at sea.
