Today we are proudly supporting Purple Tuesday.
Purple Tuesday is a celebration of our annual commitment to make continuous improvements to our disabled customer experience.
For 2024 the theme of #PurpleTuesday is #ThinkAccessibility and at Glitzy Vintage Jewellery we are always looking at ways to improve. Some changes we have made this year include:
💜 New counters for the stall, with a consistent lower height, and space for wheelchair users to tuck in under the edge.
💜 Clara is working on learning more sign language, she is proud to be able to welcome customers & explain a little about our jewellery.
💜 New font and layout on our website to be more readable; and to better support screen-reading.
💜 Softer stall lighting
💜 Dedicated shopping area within the stall away from crowds at the counter when required for users with sensory sensitivities.
In 2025 we will be:
💜 Retro-appling ALT text to ALL our website images
💜 Continuing to improve our sign language
💜 ….
