Newport Show

Dating back to 1890 Newport Show is organised and run by Newport and District Agricultural Society. Newport Show brings together the best of the region’s food, entertainment and agricultural excellence in a one-day event not to be missed.

This year has a strong focus on food with TV/Celebrity Chef, Rosemary Shrager and local community chefs in the Festival of Food area.

The main ring attraction for 2022 is the amazing Atkinson Action Horses which consists of a team of highly skilled horses and riders from the UK. Led by Ben Atkinson, and his team of Stunt/Trick riders, Actors, Writers and Combat Performers they promise to thrill, excite and astonish audiences with their high energy, breathtaking, death defying stunt shows.

Other entertainment available on the day will be Ye Olde Redtail Falconry Display, Dog Agility display, Team M.A.D and back by popular demand, Merion Owen & The Quack Pack and Sheep Show .
