1930’s Cameo Brooch

This is a lovely example of an Art Deco 1930’s cameo. The cameo is carved from real shell and set into a brass filigree mount.
The brass mount does feature some discolouration that we have been unable to clean out, and there is a later addition of a roll-over clasp to the rear.
The mount features a loop for the connection of a safety chain, or this could be utilised to attach a chain for the cameo to be worn as a pendant.
The brooch measures 3.2cm tall by 2.7cm wide.
