This is a beautiful 9ct gold front and back locket, featuring an Art Deco ‘Rising Sun’ motif to the front and is marked to the rear as 9ct back & front.
This means that the hinges and rims are metal (in this case gold plated brass) and the back and front are made from 9ct gold.
It is in fantastic condition for it’s age, dating from the 1920’s, with a couple of tiny dents (only visible under a camera zoom) and no wear or chips to the gold.
Both the front and rear keepers are still in place, so the locket is ready to use.
The locket measures 2cm wide by 1.8cm tall
This locket comes supplied on a brand new 16″ gold plated sterling silver chain.
