Today’s #FeaturedFriday is a coin necklace; a Farthing dated 1911 from the beginning of the reign of King George V.
This coin has been carved to leave just the profile of King George V behind. We are unsure when this modification was done; however workmanship like this was a popular activity in the Arts & Crafts movement, and also with Tommies in the First World War.

This necklace has now sold, but pop along to a market to see what other coin jewellery we have in stock.
